Still Need A Pool Key ?
Homeowners and Tenants:
Email our Property Manager, Reynolds Crutchfield at crutchfieldmanagement@outlook.com
Reynolds will coordinate with you to exchange your old key for a new one.
If your pool key has been lost, a replacement requires a $125.00 payment to the San Marin Valley Association.
For general questions, email the Association at smvhoa1@outlook.com.
Notice of email address change
To enhance the security of our communications, the San Marin Valley Association now uses a new email address. This update ensures that messages sent through the forms on our Contact and FAQ pages are delivered securely to the Board.
If you prefer to email the Association directly — rather than using the website forms — you will need to use the new HOA email address.
You can request the updated address by sending us a message through the Contact Page.
As of January 1st, 2022 - all residents are required to compost. The notice, sent by Recology, can be found here.
State law ‘S.B. 1383’ took effect on January 1, 2022, although it was signed in 2016 by then-governor Jerry Brown and will still take another two years to phase in fully.
A solution which seems to work for us is neighbors sharing a ‘Green” bin.
Placing a bin in an accessible and discreet spot seems to be the ticket.
Smoke‑Free Ordinance Notice
City of Novato Ordinance #1616 — Smoke‑Free Housing
Residents can review the City of Novato’s Smoke‑Free Ordinance, along with the letter previously sent to all Owners regarding this requirement.
Safety Notice from PG&E
PG&E has provided the following safety communication regarding upcoming natural gas pipeline surveys in our area. Their notice explains the work being performed, what residents can expect, and who to contact with questions.
PG&E Notice
Dear SAN MARIN VALLEY ASSN INC:
At Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E), our most important responsibility is the safety of our customers and the communities we serve. As part of that responsibility, we will be visiting your neighborhood to perform above-ground surveys on portions of our natural gas system. This important work is mandated by the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) and will help confirm the safety and integrity of our underground natural gas pipeline.
What we are doing
The CPUC requires us to conduct surveys along our natural gas pipeline every 15 years. To complete the surveys, our qualified contractors use hand-held devices to take readings as they walk above the underground pipeline location. These surveys do not require large-scale digging but may involve drilling small Y2-inch diameter holes in locations with a concrete or asphalt surface. The data collected will help us determine whether additional pipeline surveys are needed to enhance the safety of our natural gas system.
What you can expect
Our qualified contractors will visit your property at the address listed above to perform the surveys. We expect work to start in mid-March and continue through August 2023. Weather and other factors that affect safe working conditions may change our schedule. As we work safely and efficiently, our goal is always to minimize disruption in your neighborhood-as much as possible. Our-work should not interrupt your gas service, but we will contact you directly if there are any changes. You do not need to be home during the surveys. However, we may require outdoor access to your property and ask that you remove any obstructions such as a locked gate or unrestrained dog.
Your contact for questions
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your local PG&E representative, Rachel Hult at 530-338-7580 or email at Rachel.Hult@pge.com .
Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work to enhance the safety and reliability of our natural gas system.
Sincerely,
YOUR PG&E TEAM
